Liberty Lake Wedding Photographer / Danielle and Dante

The record-breaking weekend in September when we got SNOW! Danielle and Dante were supposed to be outside in the fall colors at Liberty Lake Regional Park last weekend, but the forecast turned to snow and wind. There was no way that was going to work, so the wedding was moved inside a house on the lake. I know the decision wasn’t easy for them, but there weren’t many options. These photos show how a simple bedroom and window can turn into a perfect area for photos in a pinch. Nearly all the photos of Danielle and Dante are in the bedroom, besides the few photos we snuck outside after walking down many steps and getting drenched! So worth it though for the stunning colors. You can barely tell they were about to fly away with their umbrella! Most importantly these two exchanged vows and committed their lives to each other and at the end of the day, that is all that matters. And these vows gave everyone happy tears! ❤️

Spokane Wedding Photographer/ Samantha and Nick

Last weekend, September 14th, Sam and Nick were married at a private residence in Deep Creek. They had a wonderful team of friends and family that helped make this wedding come together beautifully. Such proud parents and it was difficult keeping the tears back during those dances watching all the emotions! They are such a fun couple and liked customizing their wedding unique to them. I told them to walk and they decide to skip! I told them to look at each other and they make funny faces! Plus comfy shoes, gaming jokes in their vows, and donuts, brownies, and cookies with their cupcakes. Then not smashing cake in their faces but instead high-fiving the cake in each other’s hands since they are a “team”. I loved that! So happy for this new team to conquer their next level together! 😀

Spokane Wedding Photographer / Marley and Torey at CenterPlace Event Center

Marley and Torey were married last weekend on August 3rd at CenterPlace Event Center. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception that had every thought and detail put into it. You could tell Marley is a teacher since every kid had their own personalized activity bag. These two are the sweetest couple and just always smiling, even through walking around for photos in the heat! I could tell all their friends and family had so much fun since the dance floor didn’t go empty until the grand exit, plus that dessert table was the biggest I’ve seen. So many different handmade treats… I had to try a few! 😀Blessings to you both and your future together! ❤️

Deer Park Wedding Photographer / Ashley and Jordan at Lavender Manor

Ashley and Jordan had their wedding at the beautiful Lavender Manor on July 13th. I have been photographing Ashley since the early years of starting my business (16 years ago). I saw her through the family sessions we did and her and her brother’s senior pictures. It’s hard to believe she’s old enough to be married! After seeing them together on their wedding day and hearing the toasts, I couldn’t be happier for them and both their parent’s growing families. These two are obviously gorgeous on the outside (you can see from the pictures) but also on the inside. You two have so much to look forward to, it’s just the start of an amazing beginning! ❤️

Newport Wedding Photographer / Chantelle and Chris at Timber River Ranch

Chantelle and Chris planned a wedding in Newport, WA all the way from Boise. The travel was worth it to all their friends and family to be there for their special day at this gorgeous wedding venue, Timber River Ranch, on the Pend Oreille River. I loved that as they planned this one perfect day, they were keeping in mind that they were not just planning the wedding day, but planning a marriage and lifetime together. ❤️

Spokane Wedding Photographer / Stephanie and Taylor at Lodgepole Pines

It was so fun to photograph a wedding that you could see coming long ago! When cousin Taylor brought Stephanie to all the family gatherings it was clear there would be a wedding in the future! June 29th was the big day, which was their first date anniversary as well. They got married at a venue in Chattaroy called Lodgepole Pines. The owners were so accommodating and helpful from beginning to end. They had a beautiful day with a beautiful sunset, a day of happy memories, and a night of dancing and celebrating with friends and family. We enjoyed welcoming Stephanie and her 2 kiddos into the family! ❤️Congratulations you two!

Spokane Wedding Photographer / Katelyn and Cody at The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie

Katelyn and Cody were married on June 9, 2019 at The Barn on Wild Rose Prairie. They had such a nice and relaxed wedding day with their family and close friends. I have worked with Cody’s family for several years and it is fun to see their family growing! Katelyn is a beautiful addition to the Cantu family! ❤️So happy for you both! Anyone can tell from the photos below that they make each other laugh constantly.

DJ Ramsin also worked with Cody’s family before and was on top of it when he played Cody’s sister’s first dance song for them by surprise, almost 8 years later!

Chehalis Wedding Photographer / Nikki and Matt at The Barn on Jackson

About a month ago, October 27th, I had the pleasure of photographing Nikki and Matt’s wedding in Chehalis, WA. A destination wedding for them coming all the way from South Carolina, so not quite as far for me to travel across the state! It was so worth it for this beautiful wedding at The Barn on Jackson. We were fortunate to have some perfect weather for the girls’ photos before it rained as predicted. As you can see in the photos it did definitely rain that day, however, when looking at these it doesn’t show the downpour we worked through with the guys’ photos and the ones of just Nikki and Matt together. As stressful as rain sounds on a wedding day, Nikki was able to relax a little knowing pictures would happen no matter what! Even if the photographer had to take a shower in the rain. :) In the end the day was captured and the memories were made. It was truly a beautiful wedding with so much thought put into it. What a wonderful weekend get-a-way for all the family and friends that were able to join them. ❤️

Spokane Wedding Photographer / Colleen and Michael at Kalispel Golf and Country Club

I usually post sooner than this, but wow, what I busy fall it has been! On September 29th, I had fun capturing Colleen and Michael’s wedding at Kalispel Golf and Country Club. The Country Club more recently has set up an outdoor venue area with a tent style reception. My first wedding here since they set this up. Truly a beautiful wedding and wonderful reception site. The dinner they provided was definitely one of the highlights to this wedding. Along with their Nothing Bundt Cakes, even rainbow chip! This couple planned their wedding in just a few months and they didn’t miss a thing, so impressive!

Priest Lake Wedding Photographer / Angela and Derek

Angela and Derek had a small intimate ceremony at their family’s beach front property on Priest Lake. It was September 22nd and fall was just starting… it turned out to be a beautiful day with sunshine. Their pups being a big part of their lives, right there with them. Their dinner was held at Cavanaugh’s. You can see by their photos it was a perfect little celebration, yet such a big day for them - joining their lives together. ❤️

Spokane Wedding Photographer / Kristie and Tom in Deer Park

Kristie and Tom were married on August 18, 20018 at her parent's home. They transformed their property into the perfect wedding venue! Kristie and Tom have a fun story of how they met. Tom was working out of town and while his boss, Nate, was chatting on FaceTime with his wife Tom noticed a pretty lady in the background. Sure enough, it was Kristie, Nate's sister-in-law, and that's where their story began. The perfect match! Their family, friends, and daughters are so happy they found each other. Congratulations you two!

Spokane Wedding Photographer / Brett and Eric

My friend's baby sister got married last weekend! I photographed her senior pictures when I was just getting my business started and now it's her wedding. She also is an amazing makeup artist and she went all the way to the Oregon Coast to do my wedding makeup 10 years ago! So happy for her to have her special day and for them to start this new chapter in life. They tied the knot on the weekend of their 8 year anniversary on her uncle's property (which he'd love to do more weddings there if anyone is looking for a place... not far from downtown Spokane off of Highway 195 - let me know!). When Brett first told me she was getting married she said she wanted a simple wooded late evening wedding. It was perfect! From her dad playing his guitar walking her down the aisle to the tent set up in the backyard for their overnight stay, it was exactly what they wanted. Although they didn't need toasts and cake cutting, these traditions still happened. The cupcake surprise from Brett's sister was too funny. 💩 just got real! 😂 But seriously isn't she GORGEOUS!!!! Congratulations Brett and Eric!

Spokane Wedding Photographer / Zerina and Joel at Commellini Estate

Zerina and Joel were married at Commellini Estate on July 8th. A destination wedding for most being that neither of them are from Spokane, but they are attending college nearby. It was a perfect wedding and location for their close friends and family to enjoy the day with them and celebrate. Joel surprised Zerina with his guitar and song at the reception! I think it is the summer of serenading considering this was the 2nd weekend in a row I've seen this! What a special gift for Zerina. It was also so fun to hear the Bosnian music and dancing. The dance floor was nonstop, and it was great to see everyone having such a good time singing along. I don't think Zerina's grandmas sat down! Commellini's always does such a good job coordinating their events and putting the couple's needs first.

Special mentions: cake made by Zerina's friend; knitted flower centerpieces handmade by Zerina!

Priest Lake, Idaho Wedding Photographer / Duska and Steve

I'm not sure how to explain this wedding other than AHH-MAZING! Duska and Steve got married on their 5th anniversary, June 30th. The last 5 years together proved to show that they are perfect for each other. Not only them, but their daughters are so happy and now forever sisters. ❤️ Being friends with them means we've seen this transpire and couldn't be more happy for them! They were married at St. Blanche Catholic Church, which happens to be next to their home away from home, their cabin. Their reception was held at Priest Lake Golf Course. It was so fun and relaxed. The best part was Steve serenading his bride in front of everyone and it truly touched everyone that saw it. You'll have to watch the video slideshow below to get a glimpse of it. 😉 Lastly, a friend surprised them with fireworks to end the night. It couldn't get any better than this. Steve and Duska - I hope the day was everything you dreamed it would be, and more! Congrats!!!

Extra mentions: Make-up: MUAh, Cake: Madeleine's Cafe, Flowers: Amazing friend Jodie, Coordinator: Amazing friend Hilary

Coeur d'Alene Wedding Photographer / Mallory and Dillon

Mallory and Dillon were married at The Willows in Coeur d'Alene, ID on June 16th. What a great country setting for them. There was definitely rain in the forecast, so tents were set up and ready for it! Luckily most of the rain came while they got ready, with just a few showers during photos. The rest of the evening the weather was perfect for the ceremony and reception! The details put into this wedding were definitely noticeable. The thought of everything down to their personalized yard games. Most importantly these two didn't stop smiling ALL DAY. They truly couldn't help it and enjoyed every bit of their day. I love being a part of happy days like this! Congrats Mallory and Dillon, enjoy the honeymoon!

*Special thank you to Alissa Floyd for second shooting this wedding with me! If anyone every wants more than 1 photographer to cover their event I always give the option to add on an extra photographer.*

Spokane Wedding Photographer / Andrea and Marcus' Reception

Andrea and Marcus had a beautiful ceremony in Banff, but couldn't leave it without a party in Spokane to celebrate with family and friends! The McGinnity Room downtown was the perfect location for it. Such a simple and fun get together with everyone that has been a part of their lives. I wouldn't have missed it even if you didn't want me to be the photo girl! Congrats you two!

Spokane Senior Photographer / Desi

We got Desi's sessions done between indoor ones while we had smoke in the air to fitting in some more outside ones before yearbook photos were due (tomorrow)! We got some great variety in locations for sure. Such a blast working with my friend's daughter, she is such a fun girl with a great personality!! Sadly Desi lost her dad earlier this year, check out the last photo with his hat.

Spokane Family Photographer / Schooley Family

Love my cousin's kids! They all just loved having their photos taken. Since these were taken a couple weeks ago I totally just added extra fall into the look of some of these. 🍁 Yes, I can do that in post processing! 😊 And this is a perfect example of what you can choose within a Mini Session with your favorite 5 images... 1 of each kid, kids alone and whole family. These would look great on the wall together. 💛
