We got Desi's sessions done between indoor ones while we had smoke in the air to fitting in some more outside ones before yearbook photos were due (tomorrow)! We got some great variety in locations for sure. Such a blast working with my friend's daughter, she is such a fun girl with a great personality!! Sadly Desi lost her dad earlier this year, check out the last photo with his hat.
Yet again another baby turns one reminding me that a year has gone by too quickly. I took a picture of him with this basket at all 3 sessions, such a big kid now! Maybe we should try to make him sit in it when he turns 18! 😂
He was not too happy about this cake stuff, but managed to get a smile out of him. 😝 🎂
Crew did so well for his debut photo session! This little guy is just perfect.
I feel like I'm on a role of 1 year old babies lately! All my clients had babies at the same time last year (including myself). Here is another sweet girl that did amazing for her shoot. Big brother too! Mom and Dad even got their own photo together... they look just like they did when they got married.
This is the last of Allie's annual sessions with me to capture her at each age! Next up senior photos right around the corner, this summer!
These sweet girl has grown too fast, so much talking and many words coming out of her mouth already! She wasn't too sure about her Pinterest worthy cake Grandma made though. I think she didn't want to mess up the masterpiece! 🎂
We attempted Brooklyn 3 separate times in 1 day for her cake smash... she just wasn't having it! Or wasn't having anything that meant being out of mom's arms. Of course 3 teeth popped the NEXT day!! But we still captured some good ones of this sweet family.
Baby Colbie was so content for her session! She's perfect. 💗
Baby Eleanor turned one in March. She has the cutest most serious face, pretty much all the time. I got one smile here! I love her serious face smacking her sister. 😀 And the black and white with her belly cast that she used to fit inside of.

Although a little late on Lathan's "6 month" photos for the Baby Package series, Lathan is now 8 months. Sitting up super well and as cute as ever! Can't wait to see him in a few months for his first birthday. 🎂
We did Charlie's one year photos in February, and even though we got some cute photos he just wasn't is normal happy self that day and got super tired! I never mind if a child is having an off day to grab some more another time if needed. Look how happy he was when he came back this day, glad we were able to capture some more! Never feel bad to ask me to do this if you don't feel like we got enough great images to choose from, please please let me know!!! 😊
Capturing the end of Charlie's first year! It's been so fun watching him grow into this little walking man!
Just finished putting up some backdrops tonight that would be perfect for this season of Valentine's! These would be super cute for kids, but ladies I'm even thinking boudoir (especially the Bokeh one) for the last minute gift your husband would love. ❤️ (and make you feel great too!). I would have room for 6 private sessions next weekend, January 21st and 22nd. Each session would be 30 minutes and you'd view 10 images in an online gallery by January 30th, this would include 3 5x7 mounted prints (or) 3 digital files to print yourself. My step-daughter, Mackinzi, is going to be a senior this fall, which means doing senior photos! So much has happened in the last 10 years that I've known her, it has flown by so fast, but seeing her go from a goofy little girl to this gorgeous girl (yet still goofy) is just crazy! Even though I took these photos I must say some of them I can't believe they are her. Always a beautiful smile and having fun! I couldn't ask for a better step-daughter and easy teenager to have around. Loved that I was able to capture these for you Mackinzi and I love you bunches! I hope these images represent one of the best years of your life ahead of you.
I've never done this before, but I decided to have a free walk-in day for Mom's and their children for a Mother's Day special. It was a quick and simple shoot to capture them together. Moms always seem to be the ones taking pictures, rarely in them, unless of course holding a cell phone out and hope the kids (and Mom) look o.k.! This was just a fun chance to capture a more frame worthy photo without planning, scheduling and purchasing a whole session. I had a lot of fun doing it and will hopefully do this and some other similar things in the future! Here are a few favorites from the day.
We welcome baby Frankie to our family of cousins! He's the 6th Benjamin Franklin in the Schooley family, so Frankie was a fitting name with all the other Ben's!

Wow, time flies. I photographed Amanda and Cameron's wedding in 2006! Now after some hard work... seriously, graduate school and all, they are finally so excited and happy to welcome baby Kaia into their lives. I couldn't be happier for them.
