Bonners Ferry Photographer / Francis and Gregg Engagement

A couple weeks ago I went up to Bonners Ferry, Idaho to photograph this engagement session. It's the same location that their wedding will be held in the midst of winter and it happens to be their property. WOW! Beautiful! We went down to the water where they have a rocky beach area that has the trains and tunnel directly across and trekked up to the highest view point. Such a gorgeous place they live. Gregg's grandpa works up there every day and I can see why. We also got to include their fur baby, Lily!

Spokane Engagement Photographer / Blair and Jeremy at Finch Arboretum

Loved this snowy (and cold) engagement session last weekend! Blair and Jeremy are getting married this fall... sounds far away since we still need to get through this snow, spring and summer, but it'll be here before we know it. I photographed Blair's sister's wedding several years ago. It's always fun to work with the same family again!

Spokane Engagement Photographer / MacKenzie and Ben at Finch Arboretum

Beautiful colors for MacKenzie and Ben's engagement session. Looking forward to their wedding next summer! Fun note: In 2005 I took photos at a wedding that they were both in! Their wedding will be the same month 10 years later! engagement photos spokane engagement photos spokane engagement photos spokane engagement photos spokane engagement photos spokane

Spokane Engagement Photographer / Caitlyn and Matt

Caitlyn and Matt got engaged in October and booked their session in the perfect amount of time to snag some fall colors! We did these in early November at Finch Arboretum and downtown Spokane. We started off with enough rain to require an umbrella, but ended up being a great day! They were naturals with the camera, looking forward to their wedding this summer! Spokane Engagement Photographer / Amanda and Josh

I met Amanda and Josh at Finch Arboretum to start with the fall colors and then we headed downtown for some more urban looks. We've had some amazing sunny days lately and I'm not complaining when I can capture the sunshine like this! It's fun to play with shadows too! Priest Lake Engagement Photographer / Melissa and David

It was so fun incorporating a location that means so much and where this girl grew up. Priest Lake is a place Melissa's family gathers in the summer and spends a lot of time on their boats. I always encourage my clients to think of a place or a thing that is important to them and add that into their session, making it that much more memorable. They even brought coffee cups from their one and only favorite coffee stand on the south hill, Cool Beans! THAT is customer loyalty! David is also a photographer, for Kalispel Tribe of Indians, and I'm always extra honored to be chosen to capture another photographer's wedding! Looking forward to their wedding in 2014. priest lake beach engagement photos blog03 blog04priest lake boat engagement

Spokane Engagement Photographer / Raelena and Kyle at Finch Arboretum

Friends of ours, Raelena and Kyle, are finally engaged and planning their big event! Fall is Raelena's favorite time of year, so we were sure to get these done before the leaves were gone. Such pretty colors! We also were able to stop at the reception location for a few photos.

Coeur d'Alene Engagement Photographer / Tania and Jon

I had so much fun getting to know Tania and Jon while seeing some sunshine. After rescheduling because of rain, wind and cold twice we finally enjoyed one of the first warm days of the year! Walking around Coeur d'Alene for the first time this year really made me realize summer is on it's way. Tania and Jon are getting married in just 7 short weeks!

Spokane Bridal Festival / Engagement Session Winner

One of my sessions this weekend was the lucky drawing winner, Cheyenne, from January's Spokane Bridal Fair. I loved that Cheyenne and James came with a theme. As you can see, I just had to feature this shoot on the blog! This is sure to get the creative juices flowing for anyone looking for ideas for their own sessions... the options are endless, have fun with it!
